Wrong in all the right ways

I am falling completely in love with P!NK's new single 'Raise your glass' and especially the video for this song. It really is an anthem for everyone who's different and proud of it. I've inserted the video here and just underneath is the chorus of the song - it's stuck in my brain these days, so I had to share:

P!nk - Raise Your Glass (Official Music Video)

So raise your glass if you are wrong
In all the right ways, all my underdogs
We will never be never be anything but loud
And nitty gritty dirty little freaks
Won’t you come on and come on and raise your glass
Just come on and come on and raise your glass

And then this past week Pink also announced that she's pregnant - which of course happened on The Ellen's show (you know the deal, she is "The Ellen" to me, but yes, it was the Ellen DeGeneres). Pink has been on the show many times and Ellen often plays Pink's songs. Generally, both Pink and Ellen speak very highly of each other and seem to have mutial admiration, so it was an obvious choice, but a great one none the less.

Anyway, it's great that Pink is pregnant and I'm sure she'll be a great mom, but - on a more selfish note - this means we won't get to see her on tour the next couple of years *very sad face*
But what is even more erking to me right now, is that fact that her new video suddenly made me realize that she would've been a PERFECT Lisbeth Salander for the US remake of 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. I mean, just look: piercings, mohawk, attitude...

I know Rooney Mara got the part and production has started, but Pink could've given the role the same fierce and believable attitude that Noomi Rapace gave it. I will keep my mind open about Rooney - especially since David Fincher is directing the remake - but Noomi was beyond amazing and will always be Lisbeth Salander to me.

For the record, I have seen Rapace in other roles, and she is always amazing. And according to rumors, she's in talks to star in the 'Alien' prequel, and there's no doubt she will have some equally brilliant roles in her future. And she can be just as cute and beautiful as she is fierce and talented.
